The Glass is Half Full

Everyone worked hard to get the glass in place and leveled to backfill the garage.  That was a long hard 5 weeks. 

 Our one sanity finding treasures in the recycled glass.  Pieces of glass of all colors and shapes, colorful ceramic chunks, bottle caps and labels.  Elijah and his friend called the mounds of glass Jewel Mountain.

The job of compacting became a reward for those who worked hard.  Even Elijah had to take his turn.

Miriam and Jonas made up elaborate stories and scenarios.

After working long hard weekends and 3 days of spring break we finished!!!  Yeah!!!  We were rewarded with a trip to the "Rolls Royce of Theatres" (where the seats are lounge chairs where myself and 2 kids can sit on one-- we know, we've tried) to watch Mirror, Mirror.

Whew!  We have a bunch of good workers in our house!
